For Hispanic Heritage Month, the QuickBooks team commissioned a Latino illustrator, Victor Melendez, and a Latina writer, Andrea Arzaba, to bring a neighborhood guide to life highlighting businesses from three Latino communities in the U.S.: Chicago’s Pilsen neighborhood, Calle Ocho in Miami and Barrio Logan in San Diego.
Blog posts were produced in English and Spanish, with accompanying illustrations and videos used across the blog and social channels as a creative campaign of stops on a neighborhood tour.
Additional pieces supporting the Hispanic Heritage Month campaign theme “Unidos We Grow” included a live Roundtable featuring George Lopez with accompanying creative assets, and video profiles of Dallas-area Hispanic-owned businesses for QuickBooks social channels.
